Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

This is a compilation of the most frequent asked questions.

Can you get pictures off the web for my ad?
In order to produce the highest quality print we do not do this. Image files used for web view (jpg, gif, etc....) are very low resolution designed to be viewed on a monitor. The standard resolution of these images are 72 dpi. Print minimum standards are 300 dpi. The term dpi means Dots Per square Inch. Therefore more dots per square the better print quaulity of the AD.

Can you scan images to be used in my ad?
If it is a high quality image to begin with there is a good chance we can. With that being said, we do not like using scans because they are never as good as the digital image.

What is the "Live" area?
This is the designable area.

Can I use an image from Microsoft Word or other documents?
No. These images are not designed for large scale printing and will not produce quality results.

I do not have a digital image of my logo. Can you produce me one?
Yes we can. This is beyond the scope of free ad design however and will result in an additional charge. Contact your sales rep for more information.

Keep in mind we want to design you the best eye catching ad possible. By providing us with the best possible material we will do exactly that!
